Public Service Announcement Posters
Topic: Food Insecurity
A project given in GPHD 125 with Professor M. Estioko to create two PSA posters that would represent the topic of food insecurity in community colleges and universities. One poster was made with typography plus an image and the other was made with typography only. Our professor wanted us to explore "play on words", puns, jokes, visual puns, and anything that would draw a student in.
After research on other PSAs and information on food insecurities around the world, quick thumbnail sketches were made to visualize what the poster could look like and where elements would be placed.
After sketches were given feedback, it narrowed down to six options. I made six compositions with typography and image and three compositions with type only.
