Stairs of culture
With this project I won 1st place in competition arranged by Central Project Management Agency.
Exhibit presentation on the internet brings museum culture even closer to the man. This work aims to show that using LIMIS system, museum values are easily accessible to the public and the world. To convey this idea three Čiurlionis paintings was choosen and turned into pixels which represent digital space. Pixels in the paintings are eliminated in such way that at the very same time would be able to see all three Čiurlionis paintings and that represents the museum values accessablity, diversity and quantity in one plane (on the internet). This pixel graphics is set on different size and shape of details that in the overall composition overlaps one another (as Čiurlionis paintings) and in such way creating “stairs of culture”.
