Main Features:

1.) Corporate play books were designed for two medium:
a.) First for web/ mobile browsing. These were made available for the L&T Infotech
employees through the L&T Infotech intranet sites and email.
b.) Printed brochures that could be handed to any employee when required.

2.) These playbooks were designed to be distributed only among the L&T Infotech
employees, to improve their understanding of certain corporate processes namely
Holding corporate events, Issuing corporate gifts & issuing a press release.

3.) A playbook is like a birds eye view of a particular process or routine.
These corporate playbooks provided the user a basic understanding of certain corporate
processes, in 3 to 4 comprehensive steps. The playbook is not a detail document, it
provides the readers basic know- how to carry out a procedure and not to impart expertise
     in that function.

My objective and the main challenge faced by me in this project was content distillation.

ie. breaking down lengthy cumbersome documentation into a simple flow chart and dividing that further into comprehensive actionable steps for the reader to follow, by means of color coding content according to importance, use of short, easy-to-understand narrative style of copy etc.

Design Methodology
A design board to summarize my project and its design methodology
The challenge was to simplify available procedural information and graphically represent it through print/ soft media. The chosen mode of communication for printed information was ‘playbooks’.

A playbook is like a key-plan book. It contains only the most critical facts about any process. This word has been derived from the field of sports. In a football game, the coach of the team, hands out to every player, a plan-of-action. This contains only the key facts they need to keep in mind while in the game.

Taking from this concept, corporates have made their own ‘playbooks’. The corporate playbooks are designed keeping in mind the cumbersome procedures of a company. These playbooks aim at the simplification of the steps involved in a given process.

Through out each playbook the content was in what we called the 4 Ws & 1 H Format:
Why | What | Who | Where | When | How

However, each playbook, while adhering to the brand guidlines and content pattern, was visually different. Each followed a separate visual theme:
