This project was our first move into utilising the Microsoft Surface SDK in a WPF application. With a Windows 7 Touch API compliant multi-touch overlay we were able to create a vectorised representation of the building that can be manipulated at runtime (as opposed to the pre-rendered animations we had used in previous projects).
The manipulation was a bit quirky and there was an obvious loss in realism of the building render, however it did open up the potential for a whole new array of interactivity in these types of dashboard displays.
