The challenge for this brief was to come up with design solutions and activations to try solve a millenium goal the goal i chose to focus on was world hunger , looking at how societies perception of beauty aids in world hunger.My solution was to work with sustainable packaging. This project consisted of two projects the first sustainable package idea works with an egg carton, seeds are pressed into the card during manufacturing. When the person buys the eggs they are encouraged to water and grow their own egg carton plants. The second sustainable packaging idea is using mielie(corn) husks to package pop corn kerrnels instead of the usual plastic. This is much better for the environment.
