Faced with a new challenge that was the new coronavirus, I decided to contribute to the collective effort by proposing, among others initiatives, this image as a way to make people aware of the necessary security measures to avoid contagion.

The idea was to play with a small dose of humor (in the right measure, given the seriousness of the moment) to remember that touching the face was a way of getting infected. The image of a cactus seemed to be the right one, because we always pay attention when manipulating one of these plants. 

After two sketches the third image came naturally and I did it with watercolors, crayons and a touch of white Posca marker. The text that is read in the final image, in Portuguese, is the same that appears in the sketch written in English.

I tried first the character wearing gloves, but that was not recommended by WHO (World Health Organization)
