About the Project:
Forward Craft & Coffee is a delicious, creative adventure that combines the best of craft beer and coffee. The bar features more than 20 tap lines including those for alcoholic or nonalcoholic drinks like "The Fox Paw," made with dark chocolate from Ghirardelli plus oat milk! Mixing these two popular worlds together makes this spot special in Madison's Atwood neighborhood.
The Great Taste is the second longest-running craft beer festival in North America. Every year over 190 breweries and brewpubs serve about 1400 different beers in a beautiful lakeside setting in Madison, Wisconsin. The folks over at Forward C&C wanted to throw a pre-party pregame and warmup event and were in desperate need of some dynamic, eye-catching, illustrations to draw in the crowds.
Project Details:
This project consists then of two posters that are linked together through composition. The Craft poster features a high-energy, late-night vibe with highlights of The Roost food truck and beer kegs. This is in direct opposition to the coffee poster which illustrates the Dark Matter Coffee and Level 5 Donut takeover.
Combining those two concepts into a fun donut & space aesthetic. The purples accenting the blues of both posters allow them to stand apart but flourish together.
