Humankind has developed history through the balance of love and conflict. However, these days, love is disappearing and this balance is breaking down. Although it was a short period of time, peace between nations have collapsed, and there are judgments that deny understanding different groups and trample the weak ones in order to lead. Humanity is always full of anger these days. Anger, which is more terrifying than a disease, is spreading through mankind. So, mankind needs the magic of love and peace. Waiting for the guardian, ‘Agape’, who will spread the energy of love back into the world…

인류는 서로의 갈등과 사랑의 균형 속에서 역사를 발전해왔다. 그런데 유난히, 요즈음 지구에는 ‘사랑’이 사라지고 있고 이 균형이 무너지고 있다. 짧은 시간이었지만, 유지되던 국가 간의 평화는 위협받고 있으며, 서로 다른 집단을 이해하길 부정하고 비난하며, 선두에 서기 위해 상대적인 약자를 짓밟는 판단이 난무하고 있다. 이처럼 요즈음 인류는 항상 화가 나 있다. 질병이 전염되는 것보다 더욱 무서운 ‘화’가 우리 인류에게 전염되고 있는 것이다. 그리고 지금 지구 인류에겐 ‘사랑과 평화’의 마법이 필요하다. ‘아가페’라는 사랑의 에너지를 다시 세상에 확산시킬 수호자를 기다리며…

In a past era, when the peace of Earth was threatened, there was a Guardian who came from another world to spread the energy of love. The Guardian was familiar to humankind, yet it approached it many ways. In various legends, it was known as the goddess of fertility, love, and beauty. It is called many names, such as Hathor, Aphrodite, and Freya. Emotions are not forced to be created, so the magic of it is not to make someone fall in love. It’s just a dream of dust, beam of positivity, and organic light, that enlightens us to realize the pure positivity of feelings. Because the energy of love exists in all relationships of society, family, opposite sex, same sex, nature, animals, and all living things, its magic spreads naturally throughout the world. And it disappeared with the promise of coming back when it will be needed again on Earth.

Watching another dimension, from the peaceful land of gods above the clouds, it is the guardian who spread and radiated love to mankind on Earth.

Polymorph magic

As the legend says, it uses polymorph magic to transform into a form to descend on Earth. In the age of mythology, it came to us in a familiar life form such as an animal, but in the present day, it has transformed into a familiar artificial product we all know.

그것은 과거 신화속 이야기처럼, 이번에도 폴리모프 마법을 통해 지구에 강림하기 위한 모습으로 변신합니다. 신화시대엔 인류에게 가장 친숙한 동물(생명체)의 모습으로 다가왔다면, 현재시대엔 인류에게 가장 친숙한 제품(인공생명체)의 모습으로 변신해 우리에게 나타났습니다.

The wind that spreads the energy of love and peace

The guardians new appearance resembles a fan that creates wind. It casts magic just like the legends. The guardian’s magic of love and peace, which awakens(Dreamy Dusts), amplifies(Beam of positivity), and diffuses(Organic Light) the positive mind, is now being carried through the wind. It is spreading through humankind. Hoping that our world will be filled with love and peace once again.

VISUAL ELEMENTS

Organic Light, Beam of Positivity, and Dreamy Dust are the three key visual elements for the product's branding. All three of these elements represents the Guardian's magic who descends to Earth to spread love and peace.

Organic Light, Beam of Positive, Dreamy Dust는 제품 브랜딩의 세 가지 핵심 시각적 요소입니다. 이 세 가지 요소는 모두 사랑과 평화를 전파하기 위해 지구로 내려온 가디언의 마법을 표현냅니다.

Product process

The fan was designed based on the motif of the peacock, a symbol of courtship, to express the story of the guardian of love. When designing this Art Product with a symbolic meaning, the most important I focused was ‘vitality’. This is the process of bringing the elegant vitality of an peacock into the fan.

사랑의 수호신 이야기를 담기 위해 구애의 상징인 공작을 모티프로 선풍기를 디자인하였습니다. 상징적 의미를 내포한 [Art Product]를 디자인함에 있어 가장 중점을 둔 부분은 ‘생명력’입니다. 우아한 공작의 생명력을 선풍기에 담기 위해 밟아왔던 프로세스입니다.

There are two important points in the process of making the product. The first, is applying the act of unfolding the tail colorfully, which was folded for courtship. The second, is applying flexible line for the side view of the fan, from the top of the peacock’s head to the tip of the tail.
