the brief in short: All objects tell a story: a gift; a memento from a holiday; a favourite item of clothing, an accidental find, something created. From your own belongings select three objects. The intention of this project was to equip us with a variety of effective research activities to help generate ideas in future projects.
object 1: an adapter

Monoprints
I made monoprints, using my mouse as my mark making tool. This technique enabled me to keep my mouse clean and not covered with paint. Since it's made for scrolling, it is only able to do movement in two directions. Making curved lines was a fun challenge to draw.
object 3: retro jumper
part of my final photo series
I chose this jumper as my final piece, because it's a special piece. It belonged to my mom, and she got it from my aunt.
My mom told me, I liked to pet the figures on the jumper when I was small. I found all the different surfaces very interesting. I wanted to show this in a collection of photographs as a slow exploration. These are the best of the series.
The images are almost grayscale. But I purposefully did not change it to black and white. The slight amount of color adds emotion in a subtle way.

Screenprinting
When I was small, I thought the men in sombrero hats were frogs. I wanted to recreate what my childhood self imagined.
Thank you! :)
