Melbourne, Victoria, 2020 – Spray Paint / Acrylic / Installation

This  concept came to life throughout 2020 with an installation project for a basketball court wall mural. Complimenting the mural we meticulously picked the colours for the court tiles, wall tiles and surrounding colours and landscaping for the installation to create an original outdoor basketball court setting. With a desire for vibrant colour, blending a mixture of contemporary and modern style, the artwork wraps around the main feature wall sculpting together a unique outdoor fit out praised by many visitors. Entitled ‘One on One’ seemed befitting with two of the greatest to grace the basketball court. With a warm sunset backdrop we can only dream these two of playing one on one in this setting. The artwork has been articulated from edge to edge all the while providing a dark transition into the court tiles with matching orange colour way. Either end of the wall will house some plantation, furthermore a lighting setup on the housing pillars and coordinated grey colour incorporated to match the tiled boundary walls.
