“Colorpalette”是一款形态可变的彩色铅笔商品包装。该包装采用PLA基无机环保纸，一纸成型，简约大气。整个包装有两种形态:坚固的⻓方体收纳盒;可以随时取出铅笔的盘状笔帘。
“Colorpalette” is a form-variable product packaging for colored pencils, which is made of polylactic acid based inorganic sustainable paper. One piece of the paper can make a simple and graceful packaging. The packaging has two forms: a solid cuboid container; and a discoid pencil box from which pencils can be taken at any time.
市面上常⻅的彩色铅笔包装形态多样。筒装的包装占用空间小，但铅笔紧密排列，不方便查看和取用不同颜色的铅笔；扁平盒装的彩色铅笔更方便对比查看不同的颜色，但需要塑料托盘来支撑和作为缓冲物。Colorpalette利用纸张折叠后的特性，在平摊时利用结构牵引保证笔帘如同托盘一样平直；在卷曲收起时折叠结构则可以互相支撑形成牢固、方便运输的结构。
Common colored pencil packaging has diverse forms in the market. A cylindrical pencil box takes up less space but pencils in it are closely placed, which makes it inconvenient to distinguish and take pencils of different colors; a flat pencil box is convenient to distinguish colors but needs plastic trays to support and work as a buffer. With features of folded paper, Colorpalette ensures the spread pencil box flatness of a tray using the structure’s traction; also the folding structure of it is solid and convenient for shipment.
Colorpalette的材料是PLA无机环保纸和铷磁薄片，这种材料适合反复使用和折叠，其防水特性也能够保证包装足够作为一个容器使用到铅笔的生命周期结束。铷磁片粘在折叠结构内，既美观简洁，又可以保证其不被损坏掉落。彩色铅笔穿过三层折叠结构，既是产品本身，也是包装的支撑物，这让铅笔和包装结合成一个整体，没有多余的物体。用户既可以在桌面上使用它，也可以一手拿 Colorpalette，一手画画，在画布上随画随用。
Colorpalette is made of polylactic acid based inorganic sustainable paper and rubidium which can be folded over and over again. Also, water resistance of the materials can ensure that the packaging works as a container for a lifecycle of the pencils. The rubidium sheets are glued inside of the folding structure, ensuring that they will not be damaged and then fall off. As a result, it is beautiful and simple.Colored pencils penetrating the three-layer folding structure, as the product per se and the support of the packaging, combine the pencils and the packaging as a whole without redundant parts. Users could use Colorpalette not only on the table, but also holding it by one hand while the other hand drawing.
在视觉效果上我们尽可能地做减法，我们利用了纸张立体结构的正负形，在方盒包装表面的开窗可以看到整⻬排列的彩色铅笔，让用户可以直观地看到盒子里的铅笔颜色。
As for visual effects, subtraction is done as much as possible. We have made use of the three-dimensionality of the paper structure: Through the openings on the cuboid packaging, the colored pencils, which are placed in order, can be seen. Therefore, users can easily know the color of the pencils in the box.
