Visual Resonance is a project that visualizes sound from different parts of Singapore. The intention of this project is to engage an experience with tourists, locals or even audiophiles and make them understand a specific space, giving better understanding about a certain place in Singapore through sound visualization. Binaural mics were used to record the sound which gives 3d stereo sound sensation.

Visualization of sound in spaces can be a powerful narrative device and as we collect more sound informations and visualizes it, we have an opportunity and an obligation to tell some amazing stories which provides better understanding and experience to humanity when experiencing space. The project is then developed into a publication and an interface for users to explore the maps and listen to the sound.
