This is how the southern countries seem to us, this is how the YUG restaurant, which is located on the Black Sea coast of sunny Odessa, is in front of the guest. YUG has absorbed the special character of the Odessa region, which, like the entire southern coast of Europe, is woven from the sun, the diversity of gastronomic cultures of different peoples and the spirit of hospitable hospitality. Therefore, in YUG you will find the best recipes from warm countries with their local products. We have collected the gifts of the Black and Mediterranean Seas, the juicy meat of Georgia and the traditions of the Balkans, the vibrant tastes of Greece, as well as the best flavors of Italy and the South of France, and reinterpreted them in the taste of YUG. We love traditional cuisine, which is why we prepare our own pickles, pickled mushrooms, cheeses and fresh vegetables for the bar's antipasti, and you can watch the process of making pasta and bread right in the hall. Cooking on an open fire emphasizes the warmth of the southern character, so for cooking we use josper, barbecue, Argentinean grill and tandoor, and we bake pizza and bread exclusively in a wood-fired oven. The collection of wines from our cellars will please both the romantic in love and the avid gourmet. All this formed the basis of the southern spirit of the restaurant.
