This project came from my Graphic Design II course. The goal was to create a fictictious company that rebrands a vintage object. I chose to create Pappy's Pipe and Tobacco Company in memory of my grandfather. He was an outdoors enthusiast, life-long hunter as well as a successful businessman. The logo of the deer is a nod to all three of those facets of his character. The deer smokes a pipe and dons a jacket and tie to combine for a "Rustic and Refined" appeal which also serves as the slogan. I made the box for the pipe in the shape of a pipe yet with enough room to also store pipe cleaners and a bundle of matchsticks. The box is made from poplar and the barrells I lathed out of pine. Pappy's Brand tobacco comes in three distinct flavors: Black Cavendish, Vanilla, and Butter Rum and all with the highest gaurantee in quality.
