Stopmotion Animation, 2010
My Competition Entry for The Book That Changed my life is a stop-motion animation that focuses on 6 themes which I feel we can all relate to in books. I wanted to be able to reach out to all ages and all genders and all backgrounds. I chose to do it in a quirky cut out colourful cardboard style, focusing on shapes and typography. My aim for this animation was for it to be fun and enjoyable to watch therefore encouraging people to visit the website. With playful and fun music from Joe Hottinger that keeps in time to the movement and the all round theme of the animation, the enjoyment of reading books and where they will take us.
