MUGGINE is the fish that reigns in the SINIS protected area, the humid area of the Oristano area overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
An important animal for the whole ecosystem and a very strong symbol of strength and resilience, not only for the Sardinian culture, but also for the Japanese one.
The Italian SPARROW (there is also a small Sardinian variant) is the most common bird in the Italian territory, and is present in every territory or height, essential for the whole ecosystem. It is a fundamental presence of everyday life and a symbol of cohesion, strength and industriousness.
Both represent for me an approach to a local ecology, simple and sensitive.

MUJI Italia created the "Stick the Joy, Help the Nature!" Event, where I, and two other designers and artists, designed the small stickers that stick on the boxes, to keep the content in mind. Presented during the Milan Design Week 2022 and on sale at the store in Via Torino in Milan, the proceeds will be entirely donated to the Italian Forestry Fund.

Il MUGGINE è il pesce che regna nell’ area protetta del SINIS, la zona umida dell’ oristanese che si affaccia nel mar mediterraneo.
Un animale importante per tutto l’ ecosistema ed un simbolo di forza e resilienza fortissimo, non solo per la cultura sarda, ma anche per quella giapponese.
Il PASSERO italiano, ( ne esiste anche una piccola variante sarda ) è l’ uccello più comune nel territorio italiano, ed è presente in ogni territorio o altezza, essenziale per tutto l’ ecosistema. E’ una presenza fondamentale del quotidiano ed un simbolo di coesione, forza e laboriosità.
Entrambi rappresentano per me un approccio ad una ecologia locale, semplice e sensibile.

MUJI Italia ha ideato l’ evento " Stick the Joy, Help the Nature! ", dove io, ed altri due designer ed artisti, abbiamo disegnato i piccoli sticker che di attaccano su le scatole, per tenere a mente il contenuto. Presentato durante la Milano Design Week 2022 ed in vendita presso lo store di Via Torino a Milano, il ricavato verrà interamente devoluto al Fondo Forestale Italiano.
