A gallery of areas that I worked on in God of War: Ascension.
MP Persia Arena
This was one of the first levels created for the game in early MP development, and eventually made its way to becoming one of the MP maps. Gladiator inspired arena.
 
My Contributions:
Environment - Entire Arena area (Fight space, dais, galleries, tarps), some midground work (some additional rocks in skydome). First pass lighting and atmosphere.
Props - shields, gates, chains, small braziers.

Canyon Aqueduct.
This area was between the desert and top of the mountain as Kratos made his way to the Temple, meant to make the player feel he was slowly traversing up the mountain as the environment changed climates.

My Contributions:
Environment - Modeling and texturing of rock, mountain (foreground and midground), stage area underneath waterfall. First pass lighting, skydome and atmosphere.
Props - Poseidon Gate, Ice Pot, foliage, broken columns, rocks, aqueduct grates, brazier bases.

Apollo Statue Interior Furnace
Inside the statue of Apollo on the island of Delos. This is part of the base of the statue.

Environment - Modeling and texturing of entire area. Metal, metal trims, large bricks, supports, playable area, foreground, midground, background. First pass lighting and atmosphere. Also contributed with concept artist to come up with look and feel for area.

Apollo Statue Interior Furnace Ignited
Inside the statue of Apollo on the island of Delos. Once Kratos ignites the furnace, it allows him to ride elevators to the top.

Apollo Statue Interior Top
This is around the chest area of the interior of the massive statue of Apollo, and the end of the elevator ride before Kratos goes up into the head. I had to develop this area on my own based on the concepts from the furnace area. No direct visdev was involved except for my own sketches.

This is the "spine" of the statue, a small elevator to another section of the statue.
