Sinaloa - Rosemarie Tissi

An interactive poster was designed to inform and advertise an upcoming exhibition on the work of Rosemarie Tissi, Swiss designer and typographer.

The poster was constructed with the focus on Sinaloa, a typeface designed by Tissi that has a highly unique design with strong geometric forms. The front of the poster showcases a bold graphic and use of patterns resembling the font, that lead the viewer’s eye into simple and clean typography. The back of the poster presents the information on the exhibit and the layout mirrors the direction of the graphics on the front, to create balance and consistency.

The poster was created as an envelope format to emphasize on the style and playfulness of the designer’s work: while the cut-out suggests the stripped stroke that runs through each character of Sinaloa, it also allows for the colour of the poster to be changed, making the piece more unique and engaging.
