Bicycle crank design and analysis
Introduction:
A bicycle crank is a component that converts the rotational motion from pedaling into linear motion, ultimately driving the bicycle's chain and enabling the rotation of the wheels.
Procedure:
I designed and analysed the model using CATIA V5. The finite element mechanical analysis was to verify the stresses and deformations in the connecting rod. The chosen material was generic stainless steel.
