HOW TO PLAY FRONTENIS

FRONTENIS
Basque Pelota has a variation called frontenis. It is a game played with a rubber ball and rackets which is played on a 30-meter-long "pelota court."  In the early 1900s, frontenis was invented in Mexico, when players struck the ball against the wall with rackets. The sport first appeared on the Iberian Peninsula in 1940, and from there it quickly spread to the rest of Europe. Frontenis was declared an international sport by IFBP in 1952, and its inaugural World Competition was held in Spain. It has also twice been played as an exhibition sport in the Summer Olympics.

The court is ten meters wide, 30 meters long, and 10 meters tall. The front wall, left wall, and rebound wall are the three walls that make up this structure. facing the front wall is the players. To help players see where they are on the court, the aid wall is to their left and is marked with lines every 3.5 meters.

When the game was initially played with regular tennis balls, the fiber cover slowed it down by softening the bounce. The tennis balls' cloth covers were taken off to speed up play. Frontenis racquets are composed of wood, fiber, metal, or graphite, just like the ones used in tennis. Composite materials are used to make modern racquets, and synthetic strings are now common.

One of the two players strikes the ball with the racquet toward the front wall when playing frontenis. The front wall's playable surface must be struck by the ball in order for it to return to the court's playable area. Before the ball hits the court's floor a second time, the opposing players must strike it. The best stroke, as in other racquet sports, is one that the opponent cannot return.

Legal serves must land in the center third of the court's floor, which is separated into thirds. The receiving team scores a point for serves that land in the third of the court closest to the front wall, whereas serves that land in the rear third are viewed as errors. Similar to tennis, the first error leads to an additional opportunity to serve, while the second error awards the opponent a point. One of the two teams scores a point for each ball that is served. Teams must win by two 먹튀검증 points in 21-point games. Frontenis matches at the lesser levels are best of three, whereas international matches are best of five.

Frontenis is known as the fastest sport in the world.  It requires having excellent coordination, training, physical agility, skill, and mobility.
