What DOES TET LOOK like in the three VietnamESE regions?

That’s the question we have kept in mind while working on this special Knorr Tet key visual project. Knorr wishes to appeal to an audience throughout the country and make them feel relevant by replicating the signature atmosphere of a family Tet meal in each region: The North (Miền Bắc), The Mid (Miền Trung), and The South (Miền Nam). When gathering, families in each region have their own way of celebrating, especially shown in dinner dishes.

In order to create the signature atmosphere for each region, we have to find the authenticity in house decór, flowers, tablecloths, and signature ceramics. Traveling to the North of Vietnam, we chose an Indochine vibe house to be the main set design, with Đông Hồ painting and the prestigious Bát Tràng ceramics. For the Mid, we prepare a meal for a family in Hội An Faifoo with the signature yellow brick walls and brownish ceramics. Let’s flow with the river to our generous Miền Tây, with its thatched house and the homely Lái Thiêu ceramics.

Aside from signature side dishes, Knorr's main recipes are creative and fusion dishes (Gỏi cuốn cá lã vọng, Gỏi mì quảng sò điệp, & Chả giò cuốn thác lác).Therefore, we have to make food displays (*) from scratch, with no reference. The team has to make sure the modern food display goes well with the traditional set design, as the main theme from Knorr is An Ha (Peaceful & Harmony). The gold medal goes to our retoucher with 3D technology for flying ingredients, which makes the whole dish look lively and more fulfilling.
