Performance Interactions is a research project analysing the interactions happening between the audience, the performance space, and the performers during a performance.

It raises the following questions: How can we breack the boundaries between Performance Space, Performance, and Audience, to make them help each other, rather than retrict each other?
How can we use new technologies to bring people closer to Performance Arts ?

A Performance is an experience shared simultanously by the members of its audience and the performers. This experience is the result of interactions between the Performance itself, the Audience, and the Performance Space.
The performance space defines essential parameters of the performance by enabling more or less possibilities depending of its configuration. It will also define the point of view that the audience has on the performance, which is in most cases static and frontal.
The progress in technologies is enabling us today to create more complex interactions, namely by going virtual. Everybody is watching performances, sometimes even live,  from their personnal computers. But still, the interactions remain very static.
