7 days in the Dolomites

Landscape Photography
7 days road trip in the Dolomites,
shot on visible and invisible spectrum.

I was stuck for a few months. I wasn't satisfied by any new personal projects. Shooting in infrared for almost 7 years completely changed my artistic perception of the world, its colors and shapes.
I decided to take a week off to travel with my van in the heart of Northern Italy, one of my favorite places on Earth. Pursuing the feeling to be lost in nature, alone with my camera and thoughts, I decided to take infrared and 'regular' images in order to rediscover the beauty and the real colors of the world around me.
Maybe I feel the need to unstuck to a new and real dimension... new projects coming soon.

Perspective changes everything. Seeing and looking are two completely different acts. How we understand the world around us depends on our experiences and willingness to be open to new ideas.
The human eye can see wavelengths from about 400nm - 720nm (the classic rainbow colors), infrared is the light beyond 720nm.
