"Fire Chief"
Early Fire Department motorcar with lantern and fire extinguisher on the sideboard. Not entirely sure why he is driving on the sidewalk. I suspect from other work I've done in Elkhart this may have been a photo taken during a parade. The car is shiny and clean and winter would be an odd time to go stage a new car photo.
Notice the lady peering out the window to the left. Today this real estate is a lawyer's office.
