FLOWERS WILL BLOOM
On March 11, 2011, a big earthquake hit Tohoku region in Japan.
Next summer, when I became a first-year high school student, my father and I covered the coastal area from Natori City in Miyagi Prefecture to Kamaishi City in Iwate Prefecture. These photographs are the record of the time.
2011年3月11日、未曾有の大地震が東北を中心に襲った。
その翌年の夏、高校１年生となった私は父と二人で宮城県名取市から岩手県釜石までの
沿岸部を取材してまわった。これら写真はその時の記録である。
東松島 - Higashi Matsushima
女川 - Onagawa
気仙沼 - Kesennuma
陸前高田 - Rikuzen Takata
Ten years since I first went to Tohoku.
I went to Tohoku countless times and met many people.
I'm sure my future life will be with Tohoku.
はじめて東北に足を踏み入れてから10年。
数え切れないほど東北に通い、たくさんの人と出会った。
きっとこの先の人生も東北と共にあると強く思う。
