Levi's Haus Africa jacket

Got to work with the super amazing team over at Levi's Haus Africa on creating a unique garment for myself. I wanted to make it really special and feel entirely different when I put it on.

As a creative and advocate for the mental health community, I do realize most people's depression either comes from not being HEARD or not being SEEN. Growing up as a creative, I would often feel misunderstood by my peers and it would often feel like I'm outlier. A part of my depression from that time was influenced by this. I wanted to create something about this, that would encourage and inspire other creatives like myself.

I wanted to incorporate elements and interests that inspired me and also made me feel safe. Specific artists like Logic and Earl, colors that have a deeper meaning in my art, favorite anime characters like Trunks and affirmations I would often say to myself to feel important, to feel like I'll make it, that my dreams matter, my story matters and my life matters.
