For centuries woodcuts are being made. This so-called relief print, in which the design is drawn on a wood plank and those areas that are not to be printed are cut away well below the surface with a knife or gouge.

After many years of experience in printmaking, I've flipped the 'roles' and I’ve cut out the line drawing from the wood and -why not- filled up the lines again.

With this handmade product, and its own surface pattern design, you have something unique. This technique can be used when editing wooden table tops, wall panels, cabinet doors and chair sessions.
