Green Flash Brewing Co. is one the first major craft breweries based out of San Diego, CA widely known for its contribution in developing the original West Coast IPA. As a part of its R&D department, special releases are developed to bring new and unique beers to the public while also giving the brewing team the opportunity to experiment with new ingredients and styles.

The Green Flash Brewdown Competition & Fundraiser was created to showcase the variety of craft beers San Diego has to offer while also giving participants a chance to donate $5,000 to a charity of their choice. Attendees were given the chance to try different offerings from over 30+ local breweries and cast a vote for their favorite beer/brewery.
