Type: private apartment
Area: 102 sq. m
Location: Tyumen, Russia

The customers contacted us upon the recommendation of their friends who we had already made a design project for previously. The main task was to create a modern well-lit and functional interior.
With the apartment’s total floor area of more than 100 m2, the kitchen space turned out to be only 22 m2, and considering the architectural features of the building we had no possibility for expanding it, therefore we did our best to prepare a maximally ergonomic space-planning solution.
The principal accent was placed on the LED string lighting fixtures which we had wanted for a long time to use in our work, and which the design project has been named after.
A few accents of blue can be found in the interior, in the form of dining chairs, decorative plaster and painting in the child’s room, but for the design not to seem too cold we added a lot of wood.
In addition to that, each room has been complemented with different sorts of minimalistic lighting ranging from recessed LED strip lights to suspended and wall-mounted luminaires.
As for the interesting manner of paint application in the child’s bedroom, it was Pierre Soulages, a French artist, who inspired us by one of his paintings to do it that way.
Thank you for your attention. If you would like to see our other projects, be sure to take a look at our official page.
