Media Labs Kraków, 2022
Media Labs Kraków, which is a new Refocus Media Labs project in a cooperation with Kultura Futura, provides opportunities for refugees from Ukraine in Kraków to improve their designing skills.
Graphic design trainings have been conducted by Anna Pogorelova, who is a designer and a mentor of the School of Visual Communication (SVC), besides, she is a researcher of Ukrainian font traditions. The educational process was built in the accordance to the SVC methodology, which has being existed since 2006.
The goal was to investigate the basic elements - a square, a triangle and a circle, in order to understand an influence of color and emotional state on the reflection in these elements.
Quietness is expressed through the origin elements. A symmetrical composition has been used.
Аggression is expressed by sharp forms, reinforced by opposite colors.
