Women of India | Wooden Toy dolls

Project type - Group

About the Project
Women of India is a collection of Toy dolls representing prominent Indian women throughout history who defied gender stereotypes and encouraged future generations. The dolls are Amrita Sher-Gil, Mary Kom, Kalpana Chawla, Bachendri Pal, Savrtribai Phule, and Dr. Anandibai Joshi. The dolls are bobbleheads that interact with the children. Each doll comes with an activity book that tells the character's tale through activities, ensuring that the kid develops empathy through first-person roleplaying.

The product is designed keeping in mind the production complexities and global aesthetics. The dolls can be a great source of employment for many skilled kaarigars in India and are made of eco-friendly materials. The dolls intend to represent Indian women culturally and physically and inspire young minds by introducing them to varied role models.
