There is a very funny story behind this piece. I collect fortune cookie notes and I typically shove them into my pocket along with many other things. At the time, I used to carry a knife around. One day when I opened my knife, a fortune fell out of the blade's crevice. The fortune that so happened to be on it was, "Your fate is about to change". How very dramatic.
