設計理念

「赤嵌萬神節」是由赤嵌朋派商圈與米街人文會社共同合作的活動，目的在推廣東方傳統廟宇文化，搭配西方每年必過的節日「萬聖節」用中西合併的概念，邀請東方眾神來過西方的節。本次活動內容除了安排優質且具傳統特性的陣頭表演，將現代藝術帶入傳統陣頭外，也集結了眾多大型神將，來詮釋各表演團隊獨有之特色。主視覺取材則根據赤嵌樓的建築本體，將建築解構為單一物件後，再將其進行重組，組合後變身成為「赤嵌神將」。

標準字則是取自傳統廟宇建醮時牌坊上的手繪文字重組構成，跟前一對石獅常見於廟宇門庭是東方不可或缺的視覺元素，有鎮煞驅邪功能，也彷彿在歡迎信眾們的到來，透過這樣的視覺符碼，讓觀眾感受諸神集結與萬神同在！

The chihkan hallow festival organized by chihkan pengpai business district and the bike humanities association it’s aim is to unify the temple cultures of the east into festivals of the west such as Halloween Melding the east and west to create a new era of modern art festivities including performances of traditional temple fair.

The key visual design for the chihkan hallow festival was inspired by the chihkan tower (fort provintia) once a Dutch outpost built during the Dutch colonization in the 17 th century.

the design for poster campaign is achieved by reconstructing elements of chihkan tower to form a holy general shape aka big body seen in traditional temple fairs of Taiwan moreover.

the typography used are also inspired from the hand painted gateways of the temple fair.

The pair of the lions seen in the poster are the actual stone lions ( built in kang xi era emperor of China from 1662 -1723) that’s still stand today in front of the chihkan tower.

In Asia Stone lions are like the guardian of the god thought to protect and ward of evil. Thus every temple you visit the first thing that welcomes your are these indispensable stone lions.
