Native Americans: Totem and Story Designs

The subject I focused on in this project was the beliefs of Native Americans. As a result of a short research, I learned that the souls of animals are special to them and that every animal has a meaning for them. Thereupon, I chose the subjects that were meaningful to me too and placed the animals corresponding to them on the totems.
Otter: Laughter, truth and curiosity
Owl: Wisdom
Wolf: Loyalty, success
Bat: Guardian of the night
Bear: Power, adaptability
What I want to tell in the story is that animal spirits have been protecting Native Americans for years. This project tells the intro story of a game. Their souls can integrate with people / people can get help from animals in every matter. The reason I drew the spirits revolving around the totem was to show that they are all around us. Since the bat is the guardian of the night, it protects everyone while they sleep in the night. The bear's spirit leads them in battle and hunt because it means strength and adaptability. In the pre-story of the game, it will be told that animals have been protecting the Native Americans for centuries.
Forest drawings are not entirely mine. I made lighting and concept drawings using the painting on photography technique.
