In today's world there are many people who are afraid to meet people near me and to be social. They would rather do anything other than having to meet someone new. If there is one tip that is sure to help you out more than any others than it would have to be this one.
The one tip to help you met new people is to assume that they already like you!
What you will want to do is to assume the expected attitude other people will take. When you assume that everyone is going to like you, then you would be surprised at what happens. It's more than just assuming though, you have to get to a point where you actually believe it too.
This will help you out greatly in meet people because once you know that everyone is going to like you then you will have no fear of meeting people. Your fear will be gone and in its place you will actually be excited to met new people. You also won't be defensive when meeting people
The fear that you experience when meeting new people is actually the very thing that is hurting you. When you are fearful, you are more defensive. Other people will pick this up either subconscious or consciously and will become more defensive also. When they are more defensive, then they won't want to meet you either because you will be making them uncomfortable.
Meeting people is a self-fulfilling prophecy. When you believe that no one will like you, or that you aren't very friendly, then chances are very high that no one will like you and that you won't be friendly. You act out what you believe, so if you think that no one likes you then you are going to act in that manner.
However, you are in luck because this swings both ways. When you believe that everyone likes you and that you are very friendly, then more than likely everyone is going to like you! Again, the reason for this is because you start acting in a manner where you will be much friendlier.
One last note on going out and apps for meet people; don't be the overly friendly person. No one likes to hang around the overly friendly person. It can be uncomfortable for other people. It can also be a sign of being desperate. When ever possible never show that you are desperate. People tend to avoid others when they know they are desperate.
