Napa Agency's Jussi Kaakinen's "Freedom to Roam" stamp collection for the Finnish postal service, Posti Group.
Designed for Finland's 100 years of independence collection in 2017, Jussi’s stamps celebrate something particulary Finnish: "Jokamiehenoikeudet", which translates to everyman's right - everybody's freedom to enjoy the Finnish nature, regardless of ownership.
Activities illustrated for the stamp sheets are close to all Finnish hearts: camping in the midnight sun, lake rowing with the family, picking flowers and berries. There’s also fun wintery activities like skiing and ice fishing. However, the colourful stamps are fit for mailing letters all around the year!
The stamps also won the so-called "Academy Award of Stamps" in the Category of Travelling at the 47th International Competition of Philately, held in Asiago, Italy in June 2017. This was already the second time that this prestigious award was given to one of Napa Agency’s artists!
