Since moving to Cape Town two years ago ("Happy anniversary Lauren" - awww thanks!) I have noticed how proud Capetonians are of their doggos and when I say "doggos" I mean big ones, small ones, long ones and short ones, ones with no tails and ones with fluffy tails (and the list goes on and on).

Unfortunately I live in a small apartment that does not accept dogs (cries into pillow) but luckily for me, I live up the road from De Waal Park; one of the best known parks for dogs of all kinds. Dogs are welcome to come run, jump, hide and swim here amongst their fury friends. That is when I got the idea to sketch my fury friends at play (with a pencil and paper) and later go home and turn them into funny little characters on my ipad.
