The botanical kingdom has attracted human attention since the earliest times of mankind. Ancient cultures around the world have invented many mysterious creatures and plants in their myths and legends, and these stories have been spreaded from generation to generation. Legends describe some plants as symbols of life and the healing power of nature, while other plants represent death and decay.
At the same time as man learned to recognize, use, and later grow an increasing number of plants for a various purposes, arose the need to describe, classify, and catalog these plants. Gradually, number of herbariums has been created, which testified not only about the botanical knowledge of ancient generations, but also about the mentality of the people living at those times. Thus, real plants were often confused with mythical plants, the existence of which was therefore commonly believed.
The viewer has the opportunity to look into the forgotten places of the human imagination to discover this extraordinary herbarium, which reminds the dreamy Alchemist's garden. "
