This upside down mermaid dress is a dedication to the ball room culture in New York, especially the trans and queer members who fought for today's queer liberty. This garment includes:
- Colors from the trans flag and non-binary flag.
- Number 10's represents the act of getting "all 10's" from the judges.
- The sash which is a symbol of the pageant scene in the community.
- The harness which represents the leather scene as well as the desire to be sexually free in the queer community.
