These architectural renders were born out of the ArchiCGI’s 3D artist’s inspiration and creativity. Oleksii envisioned a compact yet very comfortable modern residence that would blend seamlessly into the beautiful nature of Australia.
When working on this project, the artist carefully studied the specifics of Australian landscapes. He learned that the continent is known for unique plants and soils as well as rough terrains. The author wanted the architectural design to look organic in such an environment, so he chose rough materials for the residence. Namely, he picked travertine, raw wood, burnt wood, and concrete. This way, he ensured that the house looked like an integral part of the surroundings.
While designing the residence, Oleksii spared no efforts to select stylish and visually interesting details such as transparent panoramic doors and a low-level pool with water flowing off the edges.
To make the images appealing and impactful, Oleksii used contrasts in shapes and colors. The simple rectangular house has a striking contrast with the location’s relief, and the dark wooden exterior along with the black pool look spectacular next to light sand and dry grass.
Oleksii scattered the plants in the scene with the Paint tool of Forest pack plugin in 3ds Max. Also, he made use of Quixel Megascans.
It took a week for our 3D artist to accomplish this project. Here, you can see the intermediate grayscale renders and the finalized CG images with textures and lighting.
