This project I had the great opportunity to work with a HND Photography student - Lauren StewartThe s.
The name of the magazine is Excite and I picked out interior as my sub heading from a box, so that give me the theme of the magazine. While sorting out the style and feel of the magazine I also had to brief my photographer on what photographs I required. I found this project fun and challenging
Below is my concept, I wanted photographs of the dinning area, mainly Colour shoots but I really liked how Black & White photos bring a different character to the table, so used them too. I wanted no people in the shots. Images to show the warmth surroundings in restaurants. I also wanted to show the beauty of the photographs by not overshadowing them with too much text so the three double spreads combine into one article.
