For this typography project, I was asked to create a brochure for the VIFF Vancouver International Film Festival, 2021. The challenge was to find three movies from the festival, create a unique theme and design a three spreads layout trying to be as consistent as possible. My theme became "Women Storytellers" and all three movies were directed by women directors with a focus on female characters.

My approach for the spreads was to use a modular grid with full-size pictures to cover the entirety of the space, using them as a canvas to offer typographic information on the summary of the movie and details on the production. I wanted to keep a consistent look while utilizing a picture of every main character of the movies through every spread.
