I was so lucky to design a desk for Tim Hargis who asked for a concept desk as a present for the "36"th birthday of his friend. What a lovely idea! Thank you Tim! It was a pleasure to design this piece for and with you.
The walnut desk features one continous and significant orange supporting metal inlay starting with the front where it is used to open the drawers. On the sides the angular inlay is useful for media devices and office accessoires. On the back the inlay gets wider so it can be used to store books, vases and other items that needs more space. This circumferential inlay is not only very useful but also a fancy and very unique eye-catcher with a high recognition value. In addition the backside features an integrated opening hole to take care of your cable management.
The inclined, tapered legs grant the desk a timeless yet modern appearance at once. The metal inlays can be easily individualized by adding additional storage accessoirrs holding your favourite items.
