8TH AVE Clothing
"8TH AVE" is a hip hop clothing brand.
The name is short for "Eighth Avenue line" or the first subway line that connected the Bronx to Manhattan, which are the two capitals of hip hop.
Among the values of which hip hop is the spokesperson we find:
affirmation of one's value, showing oneself as one is, without shame for the color of the skin or the neighborhood from which you come.
I started from this concept of using hip hop as a means to assert one's identity to build the language of my brand, enlarging elements and being invasive is a graphical approach used to point out something in particular.
The huge ghettobaster, the baggy clothes, the graffiti spread all over the wall are ways to get noticed, fill the scene and be invasive to highlight to the world its existence.
