Polypropylen dress – 3D printed jewelry

The dress is inspired by our skeletal system.
I used polypropylen to build it up because it is really lightweight and beautifully transparent yet if used in many layers it covers perfectly. I made it absolutley by hand to make a nice contrast with the three-dimensional print.
This full dress is really comfortable because the material is really light and flexible yet it is not a normal textile or cloth. It can be used in a night at the opera or on a social night or ball.

The jewelry is a three-dimensional print made into a strict geometrical shape from the outside to equilibrate the organic forms of the dress. In the inside it is an imprint of a hand to perfectly fit on. The texture of the object is sewn by the machine like our bones sewn by our body. It gives a really similar feeling to a bone so the dress and jewelry connect closely to each other yet their base shapes are really different.
