Swimmable?

A short project completed in the final week of semester at Monash University.

The design of the project will begin by considering the problematic end-point of heavy metal pollution remediation of rivers; that of the necessary long-term storage of the extracted pollutants.

Located on the Derwent River, the project focuses on designing an infrastructure that notionally bridges the remediation process from extraction through to storage of heavy metals and at the same time revealing to the public the 'out-of-sight' pollution problem.

Making the invisible visible.
