Brand Communication Serang City (Final Project)

Kota : City, in Indonesian.
 
Ihsan (Arabic: إحسان‎), also spelled ehsan, is an Arabic term meaning "perfection" or "excellence" (Ara. husn). It is a matter of taking one's inner faith (iman) and showing it in both deed and action, a sense of social responsibility borne from religious convictions.
 
According to Prof. Drs. H. R. Bintarto, Council of the University of Gadjah Mada, the City is a human life network system with high population density, heterogeneous social strata and materialistic life style. The most vital part of the stage is the internal branding of the product itself, while the internal part of city branding is the people.

Serang societies are build with a solid cooperation, especially the youth generation. However, the utilization of the youth generation in the city of Serang itself has not organized properly. The youth generation needs an encouragement in the form of community that can filter aspirations and ideas to build the city together.
 
I introduced more value of Serang  that can create a movement "Kota Serang Ihsan dan Mandiri - Serang City Ihsan and Independent" through a method of community building.
 
"Community building generally refers to building the social networks within the community, and developing group and individual problem-solving and leadership skills." (Fliedstone Alliance)
Surosowan pattern (batik) is the name of Keraton where the King / Sultan of Banten stay. Surosowan Keraton rather looks like fortress.
 
The master logo is a pride (fortress) for all citizens to always keep Serang City's original culture.

"Diskusi untuk Mandiri" and "Abrus-Abrusan Kota Serang"
Brochure "Diskusi untuk Mandiri" - Front View
“Abrus - abrusan Kota Serang” or Adventure in Serang City was the potential result from the “Diskusi Untuk Mandiri” or Share To Be Independent Event. “Abrus-abrusan Kota Serang” was conducted every 2 weeks in the weekend, this ia a trip around the city of Serang by bus from the Government of Serang City. This trip will be organized by young volunteers who cares about the city of Serang itself and aims to gained more recognize from young generation about the Serang City, especially for the Serang City’s potentials that has been long abandoned and neglected.
