An assignment to rebrand The Grammys Award Show that targets to a more youthful, yet sophisticated and modern audience. As a Grammy is the recording industry's most prestigious award, the rebrand must also respect the significance of the event. Thus, I present my concept for a rebrand package for The 2015 Grammys.
The redesigned logo keeps the brand sophisticated and modern in that it serves information-first while offering a clean and classy styling. The visuals utilize macro photography while focusing on champagne bubble formations and their distortion of the information. The logo reveals through macro rack focusing and bubble refraction into the final lockups. The macro organic fluids contrast with the clean and modern typography of The Grammys rebrand package.
Concept Statement: Macro close-ups of champagne act as fluid reveals through tight focus and liquid distortions of typography.
