Jack London TYPEFACE

Typography

Jack London is a revival typeface. It is based on the lettering on the cover of a Serbian translation of the novel "The Little Lady of the Big House" ("Mala Ledi") by American author Jack London. The book was published in 1957. by Belgrade based publishing house  - "RAD", and the lettering on the cover of the book was made by a Serbian painter and designer Radomir Stević Ras (1931.–1982.) The entire typeface was created solely from the uppercase letters on the cover of the book (A, D, E, K, L, M, N, O, Ž) from which the rest of the letters were drawn.
