ERDO is a Vietnamese sustainable fashion brand based in Ho Chi Minh City. Driven by a youthful and go-getting spirit, they aspire to bring about a positive shift in Vietnamese fashion, as well as the environment. Putting eco-friendly material and transparent production at the frontline, they are outstanding with their Essential outfits, featured by the high utility at an affordable price.

Our goal was to make ERDO a brand that appealed to the new generation of Vietnamese fashionistas. Furthermore, we were eager to communicate sustainability in fashion to the audience through engaging and familiar visual language.

The main storyline for developing the entire visual identity was the reflection of original values and the dynamic transformation within each individual. The journey of discovering one's true self was depicted in the story as mirror imagery, with each mirror representing a single essence.

"EDRO" was a reversion of the word "Redo," as another saying goes, "Redo to be better." The logotype was based on a circle shape, which represented the "original mirror," with a reversed "R" to emphasise the mirror's reflection and backward-looking.

TYPOGRAPHY

The display typeface was exclusively developed for ERDO based on the circle structure. It was a combination of the original rough strokes, distinctive glyphs, odd structure, and Vietnamese diacritics, which made it more contemporary and engaging to Vietnamese younger.

KEY VISUAL

The key visual was created from the “original mirror” and the distinctive reserved R to diversify the visual identity, with the brand essence was remained consistent in a meantime.
